Hoping for an embryo (possibly egg) donor to become part of our community

*** Hoping to meet an embryo (possibly egg) donor and have an extended family connection ***

We are Kaihlee(39) and Sam(37). We have a 2 year old son who was conceived via IVF with donor sperm. We were so fortunate that the pregnancy was healthy, and straightforward.

We have not been so lucky trying for a second child. Our issue now is getting to the embryo stage. We have been navigating the emotional roller coaster of 3 failed IVF retrievals this past year. Sam hasn't been able to make a day 5 embryo. And my (Kaihlee) last cycle failed, the doctor can only assume because of my age. We had originally hoped to each have a biological child but have come to realize since having our son that love and family don't have to come from a bio relation. Sam is not biologically related to our son but they are the definition of the word FAMILY- their bond is as strong as any blood related parent and child.

We own our home in regional NSW and our free time is spent finding new hiking trails, gardening, and lots of playgrounds with bub. We value travelling (I am originally from Canada so we try to visit every 2 years), being outside, staying healthy and active, time with our friends (our chosen family) and we would hope to connect with a donor family that has similar values. We also would love to raise a child to know their whole story and have an "extended family" type of connection with their donor(s).

We have supportive family and friends who already shower our son with so much love, we know any future child would be treated just as wonderfully

We are currently with a clinic in Sydney but are happy to move clinics if that makes the process easier.

We both absolutely love being parents, it has honestly been the best 2 years of my life. We love seeing the toddler he's turning into, and seeing the world through his eyes.

Also hoping to connect with other recipient parenrs to hear their stories on the process, and what made things run smoother.

We are so amazed by the generosity we have seen successful withmatches. Hoping we meet a person/ couple that resonates with our story
