I’m Deb (45) and Richard (44) and both Caucasian and live in Brisbane - well out towards Ipswich. We both come from a loving and supportive families.
I work as a Nurse Unit Manager in Cancer Care and Palliative Care Services. My parents are both still with us and I am extremely close to them. I have two older brothers, who are both married and have seven children between (one with 4 boys and the other with 3 girls). I also have a very large extensive family who I see as often as possible - my mum is one of eight siblings, and my dad is one of six.
Richard works within our local area as a cleaner for the local council and was a coach for the local under 17’s basketball team, however, has had to recently step back from this due to work shift times.
Richard’s family is a little smaller than mine. His family consists of his son, mum, brother, sister-in-law, niece, sister and brother-in-law along with a number of fur kids. Richard’s extended family primarily live in Adelaide. Sadly, his dad passed away almost five years ago.
Richard has a son from a previous relationship, and he lives with us full time. Richardd's immediate family live in Brisbane but extended family live predominantly in Adelaide.
Richard and I both have a passion for tenpin bowling - which we play three to four times a week as well as in tournaments. Richard’s other interests include (as mentioned previously) basketball, car racing and football. Whereas I’m into dancing, netball, cooking and photography.
13 years ago I started my ivf journey solo and met Richard a couple of years after I had started. We spoke in depth at the very beginning - I was upfront and open with him about my dreams of being a mum and hoping to start a family. I explained what I was doing, where I was up to with my ivf journey and mostly importantly why I was going through it all - and he has been by my side through the highs and lows since.
We have tried a number of ivf cycles together and due to unsuccessful collections, implants, miscarriages, and we are now looking at egg donation. We have both finished all the required tests and counselling in preparation for looking for an egg donor. The main reason for not falling pregnant was due to my eggs and their age.
I hope this gives you a little insight into us and if you would like to know more about myself, Richard or our ivf journey, we would be more than happy to help and answer any questions.
We thank you for taking the time to read our ad and wish all egg donors the very best in your search for the right recipients. And thank you for the gift of hope for all who are searching, Deb and Richard.
As I do all of this on my own with no other income as it’s truly my passion, I don’t charge any fees for this website, it’s totally free so if you would like to donate to this website, the Facebook page and groups and help me to keep helping others find their Egg Donor Angel, please click on the donate now button below or my details are below xox. All donations will go into improving the website, the processes, to finding more egg donor angels and to creating more awareness for this wonderful cause.
Thank you, every bit helps as I started Egg Donor Angels with my own money and my own time (and lots of it :)) and I continue to run it on my own time and money, it’s almost a full time job now.. but I love doing this and am so very passionate about it xoxox
